The former First Lady of Oyo State and President of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation (SAAF), Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, today paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan.

During the visit, Dr. (Mrs.) Ajimobi expressed her desire to collaborate with the Olubadan and his wife, Olori Yinka Ladoja, on initiatives that will promote women empowerment and capacity building in Ibadanland and Oyo State at large. She emphasized that empowering women remains a vital pillar for sustainable development and pledged her support for joint programs that will uplift women and families across Ibadanland
In her words:
“I am delighted to pay homage to Kabiyesi. This visit is not only to honor our Kabiyesi but also to seek areas of collaboration, particularly in empowering women. I look forward to working closely with Kabiyesi and Olori Yinka Ladoja in this noble cause of building stronger, more resilient communities through women-focused initiatives.”
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajimobi was accompanied by a distinguished entourage including Alhaji Olalekan Alli, former Secretary to the State Government; Mrs. Bolanle Alli, wife of the former SSG; Mrs. Alake Adeyemo, wife of the former Deputy Governor; Mrs. Ronke Eniade, wife of the former Head of Service; and Mrs. Hannah Ogunesan, former Head of Service.
Also in attendance were Hon. Afeez Repete, former Deputy National Youth Leader of the APC; alongside the current APC Oyo State Youth Leader and Deputy Youth Leader.
The visit was marked by warm reception, mutual goodwill, and a shared commitment to advancing the progress of Ibadanland, particularly through the empowerment of women and the younger generation.
