The Managing Director/CEO of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin on Sunday visited Okeho as part of activities marking Okeho Day and the official takeoff of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO).
Dr. Gbadegesin, who served as Oyo State Commissioner for Health during the administration of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, joined the community in celebration and used the opportunity to consult with notable stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Okeho.
During his stakeholder engagements, he was warmly received by the APC leader in Kajola Local Government, Baba Ariori as well as other party leaders including Alhaji Isiaka Obe and Alhaji Abu.
Gbadegesin, who is the son of the Asiwaju of Okeho, Prof. Segun Gbadegesin, said the meeting with APC stakeholders in the community was about ongoing reconciliation efforts within the party
.
He said his visit underscores his commitment to fostering unity within the APC and the continued development of Okeho.
