The Senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has extended Eid-el-Kabir Greetings to people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
In a statement released by his media office, Senator Abdulfatai felicitated with Muslims in the district, praying for acceptance of their sacrifices and prayers during the holy month of Dhul-Hijjah.
The Senator urged Muslims to emulate the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son Ismail (AS), who demonstrated unwavering faith and obedience to Allah’s will.
Senator Abdulfatai also called on the people of Oyo North to continue to pray for peace, unity, and progress in the district, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The Senator reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Oyo North, Oyo State and Nigeria at large praying for a prosperous and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
“As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, let us reflect on the values of sacrifice, obedience, and faith that Prophet Ibrahim and his family exemplified. May their examples inspire us to be better citizens and to work towards the progress of our great nation,” The lawmaker prayed.
Senator Buhari wished the people of Oyo North Senatorial District a blessed and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration and many happy returns of the festival.
