Hon. Olajide Olatubosun, a former member of the House of Representatives who represented Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo federal constituency, has urged all Nigerians to work together to build a society that is just, equitable, peaceful and priortises prosperity for all.
His call was made in a statement released on Sunday night in celebration of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
Olatubosun’s message focused on the importance of unity, justice, and equity in nation building, echoing the teachings of Prophet Mohammed.
He emphasized that the principles of fairness, justice, and peace are essential to Nigeria’s development and prosperity.
In his statement, Hon. Olatubosun reminded Muslim faithful and in deed all Nigerians, to use the opportunity of the Prophet’s birthday celebrations to recommit themselves to the principles of justice, equity, and fairness if we are to build a peaceful and prosperous nation where nobody will be left behind.
He highlighted that Nigeria can only thrive when her citizens live by these values.
The former lawmaker emphasised the importance of Prophet Mohammed’s teachings, noting that the Prophet stood for compassion, fairness, and respect for all humanity.
Olatubosun said, “As we celebrate the Prophet’s birthday, let us take a moment to reflect on the values he represented and rededicate ourselves to building a society that is grounded in justice, equity, and peace and all – inclusive prosperity.”
He also reminded Nigerians that these principles are not only moral imperatives but necessary pillars for national unity and progress.
He equally highlighted that the task of nation-building rests on all citizens.
According to him, promoting justice, equity, and peace is not only the responsibility of political leaders but also that of every Nigerian.
