The member of the House of Representatives for Atisbo / Saki East/ Saki West Federal Constituency, in the 8th and 9th assembly, Hon. Olajide Olatubosun,
has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, following the loss of his elder brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde, who passed away in the early hours of yesterday.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Olatubosun described the death of Engr. Sunday Makinde as an irreparable loss, not only to the Governor’s family but also to friends and associates as well.
“The demise of a cherished sibling is a profound loss, and I share in your grief during this difficult time,” Olatubosun stated.
“Engr. Sunday Makinde was an elder brother to our Governor and his wisdom and guidance will surely be missed by the family, friends, associates and the community at large.
Olatubosun prayed for strength and fortitude for Governor Makinde and his family as they navigate this challenging period.
He also prayed for God to grant the Makinde family peace and comfort they require during this difficult time.
He reaffirmed his solidarity with the Governor, stating, “Please be assured of my thoughts and prayers at all times and particularly during this difficult period.
