The senatorial hopeful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Oyo South, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, has condoled with Senator Teslim Folarin, on the sudden death of his wife, Barrister Angela Folarin.

In a statement signed by Kola-Daisi and made available by his media team, he described the late Angela Folarin as a ‘shining example’ whose death is devastating and an unquantifiable loss to both her immediate family, her loved ones and the political family in Oyo state.

The statement reads: “The news of the death of Mrs. Angela Folarin is heartbreaking and sobering. She was very vibrant and genuinely a
kind-hearted person. She was especially very supportive and played a key role in her husband’s political career, where her commitment and impact was felt.

“She was a shining example in this regard, thus making her shocking demise a huge loss not just to her immediate family, but to the entire political family in Oyo state.

“My heartfelt condolences to Senator Teslim Folarin, and I pray for fortitude and God’s comfort for him, the children, and her entire family. May the almighty Allah grant repose to her soul.”

Mrs. Angela Folarin was reported to have died on Friday, in London.
