Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, Managing Director of the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) and former Commissioner for Health in Oyo State, visited Chief Dr. (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi at her Lagos residence today. The meeting was warm and focused, with the two leaders holding conversations on public service, state development, and the progress of Oyo State.
During the visit, Dr. Gbadegesin and Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi exchanged ideas on how to unlock more opportunities for the people of Oyo State. Their discussions covered governance, community development, and the role of experienced hands in shaping a stronger future. Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi, a respected matriarch and political figure, shared her thoughts on leadership and the continued need for unity, stability, and purposeful growth across the state.
Dr. Gbadegesin also congratulated Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi on her recent nomination as an Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He described the appointment as well deserved, noting her years of dedicated service, her influence as a stabilising figure in Oyo politics, and her commitment to the welfare of the people. He wished her success in the new national responsibility and expressed confidence that she would bring her trademark diligence and grace to the assignment.
