In line with the station’s vision of “ A broadcast media platform for enriching and enhancing the “LIFE” of its audience and host community”, Life Radio 107.5FM Ibadan has rewarded its loyal callers with cash prizes and gift items in the just concluded Listen & Win 1.0.
The first of its kind promotional scheme by any Nigerian radio station was launched on December 1 2024 with various prizes including cash, clothing, food and edibles, personal care products, religious books and telephone airtime donated by individuals and corporate bodies in support of the scheme.
Spanning eight weeks and configured on three levels; successful listeners during quiz and games segments or programmes winning instant prizes, top ten callers on the station were selected with seven winning consolation prizes and three of the top ten emerged finalists receiving cash prizes, traditional fabrics and personal care products, the loyalty reward scheme blazed the trail in broadcast media and audience relationship.

Mrs Grace Mopelola Ogunrinde from Ojoo emerged the number one caller, Mr Adekunle Ismail from Mokola came second and Mr Abideen from Moniya was third. Also present during the live prize presentation was Mrs Babatunde from the University of Ibadan who was among the seven consolation prize winners.
Speaking during the live presentation, Life Radio’s Executive Producer, Toye Arulogun declared that it was the station’s way of expressing genuine appreciation to its teeming listeners who take time, make efforts as well as spend money to call during contributions to the stations’ broadcast.
“ The Life Radio Listen & Win promotional scheme was conceptualised to reward listeners and recognise callers who have demonstrated high level loyalty to the radio station over the years. It is our token of appreciation to the listener for the support, encouragement and contributions to the station.”

Speaking further, Arulogun stated that “ Life Radio is very appreciative and encouraged by the high level participation by the listening audience and we will continue to reward and recognise the brands listenership especially callers who confirm not only our reach but indeed penetration amongst the target group because Life Radio’s content resonates with them”
Winners who spoke individually commended the station for the novel loyalty reward and recognition scheme emphasising their love for content on the station and suggested new areas of focus and development.
Other consolation prize winners who got cash gifts include Mr Ajibade Sulaimon Araromi from Akufo, Mr Samuel from Apete,
Mr Moshood Olaleye from Apata, Mr Abiodun Adeoye from Salvation Army , Mr Titilayo from Abebi and Chief Opadokun from Lanioka Estate.
