A member of the 8th and 9th assembly in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olajide Olatubosun has joined the entire progressives family and all people of goodwill to pay tribute and celebrate a dear father, leader, statesman and an Icon, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, on his 76th posthumous birthday.

In a statement signed by him and released to Journalists by his media office, Olatubosun described Ajimobi as a model in progressive and visionary leadership.
He reflected on Ajimobi’s transformational and impactful leadership accross all facets of life when he served as Governor of Oyo – State from 2011 – 2019.

“In life and in death, you have become the standard of good governance and a model in progressive and visionary leadership not only in Oyo – State but in Nigeria as a whole”

“With uncommon courage, you transversed Oyo – State like a collosus building long – lasting legacies in modern infrastructure, Education, Health, Security and other social services”
Olatubosun went down memmory – lane on how despite all odds and at great personal risk, Governor Ajimobi initiated and implemented the modernisation of our traditional institution.
