President Elect endorses Senate President, Speaker for 10th National Assembly……, Abbas Tajudeen reacts

The President-Elect of the federal republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has endorsed the emergence of Senator Godswill Akpabio from the South-South region as the Senate President and Right Hon. Tajudeen Abass from the North-West region as the SPEAKER of the 10th NATIONAL ASSEMBLY. The move was part of the need to ensure stability within the party and the country at large.

In his reaction after being informed that the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has endorsed his candidacy for the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives. Honourable Dr Abbas Tajudeen claimed that It is a tremendous honor to receive his support and encouragement, and he is committed to upholding the highest standards of leadership and service in the important role. This he claim he will exemplify by running an all-inclusive assembly and work tirelessly to serve the nation to the best of his ability.

“I believe that the Speaker of the House has a unique responsibility to represent the best interests of the Nigerian people and to promote a spirit of cooperation and collaboration among our elected officials. If elected to this position, I will work tirelessly to advance the causes of justice, fairness, and equality for all, and to build bridges of understanding and cooperation across the aisle.”
