The attention of the leadership of the Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA), a foremost support group rooting for an Asiwaju presidency come 2023 has been drawn to a video trending on social media and amplified by People’s Gazette, an online platform known for churning out fake news and promoted by the opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
In its idiosyncratic characteristics, People’s Gazette known for cheap blackmail had gone to the internet with its usual ridiculous insinuation about the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during one of his visits to monarchs in Ogun State.
During his visit to the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Dhikrullahi Adetona, the ruling party National Leader was noticed with sweat on his ‘babariga’ (agbádá). However, this scenario was what Samuel Ogundipe’s merchant of mischief and fake news tabloid, People’s Gazette twisted to hoodwink the gullible public knowing quite well the average Nigerian falls for any news, especially bad about a perceived adversary on the social media hook, line and sinker. Ogundipe knew people would hardly fact-check and would most often run to town with such beer parlour mill. It is their stock in trade, but we remain undaunted.
It is instructive to state without equivocation that Samuel Ogundipe is and has always been a willing tool in the hands of political jobbers. It was for his crooked ways that he was summarily dismissed by the reputed online platform – The Premium Times. Only recently, he was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Department of State Security Services (DSS) for attempting to blackmail the Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyeama with a $300,000 ‘keep shut’ payment over a phantom story he said he had against the aviation guru.
It is not impossible that people naturally will sweat under a sunny day and after having moved around several prominent royal fathers on a scorching afternoon. Everybody sweats on a sunny day, especially when cladded in ‘babariga’ (agbádá). It does happen in ‘saner climes’ too. Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair did. Prime Minister Boris Johnson sweated with his ‘àkànpò’ (suit) even with the cold weather of the Queen’s Country during sensitisation visits. More so, former Presidents Clinton, Obama and French Prime Minister, Mr Manuel Valls (see pictures & link below). So, why the hoopla about an Asiwaju Tinubu’s sweat during his visit to seek royal blessings? Who is afraid of the Jagaban Borgu?
Nigerians will recall that only two weeks ago, the National Leader, All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was in London, United Kingdom to meet with the leadership of Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA) as part of his ongoing consultations on his presidential ambition. In the 3-hour long têtê-a-têtê, there was no sign to suggest a man who is either incapacitated or suffering from any ailment. How people would come up with such trashy gimcrack and hogwash, yet paint it as a true story to suit their narrative remains a mystery. Regardless of their shenanigans, we remain incorrigibly committed to the Asiwaju Tinubu mandate to provide Nigeria with the needed leadership come 2023.
The public is hereby notified that as far we are concerned at the Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA), Samuel Ogundipe’s People’s Gazette should try more. There is no amount of the mischief from their mill that can stop the presidency of an Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2023. It is a divine project with heavenly support pillars. People’s Gazette should know that no one stops a moving train, especially, Buhari’s modern train, not his party – PDP’s moribund and jalopy iron except that such an individual has prepared for their obsequies. Tinubu’s presidency is a celestial kismet that no one born of a woman can derail no matter how hard they try.
The leadership of the NDA enjoins Nigerians all over the world and especially those that are resident in the country to discountenance the trending story. Recall Asiwaju Tinubu is an ‘àgúnmu òwò’ (marketing product) for them. They always want to drag traffic to their portals with his name.
We, therefore, enjoin you all to join us and be part of history during our planned road walk for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu slated to hold on March 3, 2022, tagged ‘Obalende 2 Bourdillon Parade’.
Asiwaju is coming to retool Nigeria for prosperity and economic el dorado.
