Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reappointed Owolabi Jamiu Falana as a Permanent Board Member of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

Falana, who made history as the youngest board member in the history of Lagos SUBEB, continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing the state’s educational sector.

During his previous tenure, Falana spearheaded several notable initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education across Lagos State.

Among these was the highly impactful #100SchoolsVisit campaign in 2024, which saw him personally visit 100 schools across the state.

The initiative was designed to ensure that schools were operating efficiently and meeting the required educational standards.

Falana’s reappointment signals the government’s confidence in his leadership and commitment to advancing basic education in Lagos.

His continued presence on the board is expected to bring fresh perspectives and sustained progress to the educational system in the state.
