The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr Buhari Abdulfatai has condoled with the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde who lost his elder brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde in the early hours of today.

The lawmaker in a condolence message signed and made available to journalists at Abuja this evening described the death of Engr Sunday as a great loss not only to his family but Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

While sympathizing with the Governor on the sudden death of his brother, Senator Buhari said no doubt Seyi Makinde will miss the elderly advice and encouragement from Engr Sunday Makinde that have been reliable sources of appreciative performances of the Governor.

The Legislator enjoined Seyi Makinde to remain focused while hinting that though it is not an easy task losing loved one to the cold hand of death, he just needs to remain steadfast by making lives worthy of living for the family the deceased left behind.

Senator Buhari prayed for the soul of Engr. Sunday to rest in peace adding that may the Lord give the family he left behind particularly Governor Makinde the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
