Kwara State, led by Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has demonstrated unwavering support for the Federal Government’s 3 Million Technical Talents Program (3MTT), witnessing a remarkable surge in registration.
Launched in December 2023, the program’s expansive reach across all 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the state has specifically targeted the vibrant youth population.
Over 40,000 youths in Kwara have responded eagerly, registering for the program, indicating a resounding endorsement of the initiative’s objectives.
From this pool, 549 fellows have been carefully selected in the inaugural batch, reflecting the depth of talent and enthusiasm within the state’s youth demographic.
In a show of the proactive approach of the AbdulRazaq-led administration, concerted efforts are underway to facilitate learning and active engagement among the program’s fellows.
This commitment underscores the government’s recognition of the transformative potential inherent in empowering youth through technical education and skill development.
Ministerial Endorsement
Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Honourable Minister for Communication, Innovation, and Digital Economy, lauded Kwara State’s proactive stance towards digital empowerment. Expressing gratitude, he highlighted the state’s pivotal role in ensuring inclusivity and progress.
