Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been very forthright in his bid for the presidency of Nigeria. He repeatedly said it is a lifetime ambition for him to serve Nigeria because he believes he can make a good difference in national leadership.

I think those who aspire to lead a country must have personal conviction and ready to proclaim it even on the rooftop like Asiwaju is currently doing across the country. Nigerians should be weary of those who tell us they are being begged, cajoled or called by God to lead.

Nigerians should not pay serious attention to hidden aspirants and those whose Presidential ambitions have remained mere speculation being promoted by those referred to as ‘sponsored speculators’.

As things stand today, Tinubu has distinguished himself as the man with the courage of his conviction and ambition. He is putting the hardwork to realise the ambition.
