…Falana-Led Executives Initiative Gets Support with Alumni President’s Backing
In a recent reunion event marked by camaraderie and growth, the 2007 Set of the Ansar-Ud-Deen College Isolo Old Students Association (ADCIOSA), led by Mr. Owolabi Falana, showcased their commitment to empowering members through business support initiatives. The reunion, featuring a series of entrepreneur-focused sessions, culminated in awarding financial grants to members to support their business ventures.
With the guidance of Mr. Fatai Olayemi from NIMFATE, members underwent rigorous enterprise development training tailored to equip them with essential business skills. Following this, 11 alumni members were selected based on their business plans and overall engagement in the program. Each recipient was awarded a grant of 200,000 naira to facilitate their business goals.
The funding, initially set at 100,000 naira per recipient by the 2007 Set, was doubled thanks to the generosity of Dr. Adebola Akindele, the ADCIOSA National President and Special Guest of Honor, who also received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event, bringing each recipient’s grant to 200,000 naira.
The 2024 reunion has not only strengthened ties among alumni but has also demonstrated the association’s commitment to practical empowerment, promising continued support through mentorship and resource-sharing for the selected entrepreneurs.
