Last Saturday, 19 March 2022 at an event in Osun State, Chief Tunde Badmus made a call for the establishment of a political directorate by the Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria and was wrongly attributed to Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This statement, although an error made in good faith by Chief Badmus does not accord with the views and opinions of Asíwájú Tinubu.

Asiwaju Tinubu does not believe politics should be mixed with religion.
