… Corrects Misinformation and Seeks Retraction

In response to recent media reports inaccurately associating Elegushi Private Beach with the arrest of fuel smugglers by the Nigerian Navy, the management held a media conference to provide clarification and seek a retraction.

During the conference, the management clarified that the arrest did not take place within the vicinity of Elegushi Private Beach.

Instead, it occurred at a house located at 3 Silverbird Road, Ilasan, Lekki. A thorough verification process, including an on-site visit, confirmed the geographical separation between the beach and the mentioned location.

Expressing concern over the potential damage to the beach’s reputation and the families connected to it, the management emphasized the importance of accurate reporting in maintaining trust and safety perceptions among guests.

While acknowledging that errors can occur, the management firmly requested an immediate retraction of any mention of Elegushi Private Beach in connection with the illegal activities.

They stressed their readiness to take legal action to protect the beach’s reputation if necessary but expressed a preference for an amicable resolution.
