In a swift response to a tip-off from a radio broadcast earlier today, officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources successfully apprehended nine miscreants who had been terrorizing residents and passersby under the bridge opposite Ayinke House, Ikeja.

The enforcement team’s action underscores the government’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all Lagos residents. Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, reaffirmed the state’s dedication to public safety, emphasizing that such operations will continue to protect citizens and curb criminal activities.

“We remain committed to a safe Lagos for all,” Wahab stated in a post on X.

The successful operation highlights the active role of the Lagos State Government in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents through prompt action against criminal elements.
